This individual is an integral part of the corporate team, maintaining clear and consistent daily accounting operations.Duties/Responsibilities:Maintain detailed financial records for a portfolio of properties, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilitiesPrepare journal entries and perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliationsAssist in developing annual budgets and monitor performance against budgeted targetsCollaborate with on-site personnel and other team members to provide support and resolve any financial issues or discrepanciesEnsure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirementsConduct financial analysis on property performance, cashflow, and capital expendituresAnalyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvementMaintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and policiesAbility to develop innovative solutions and process improvements based upon technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and understanding of financial systemsAssists with annual auditsSupports ad-hoc projectsRequired Skills/Abilities:B.S. in Accounting/Finance requiredExcellent computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Office and commercial accounting softwareSelf-motivated, highly organized, and detailed orientedAbility to work in a dynamic setting and adapt to changeA deep commitment to honest, ethical conduct in all dealings and an ability to adhere to the company's core valuesExcellent oral and written communication skillsBenefits:Competitive pay and 401k employer match100% health insurance coverage for our employees3 weeks of paid time off and 10 paid holidays16 hours of volunteer PTO to give back through IDM CaresInclusive Parental LeaveAnnual Education AllowanceHealth and Wellness ProgramsTarget Pay Range: $59,500.00 - $79,500.00Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
