Accounting Specialist

Accounting Specialist IIILegacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Accounting Specialist III role in Vancouver, WA. With a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence across all accounting processes.Key responsibilities include:Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and financial discrepancies.Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company policies.Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.Review invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for accuracy and compliance.Support payroll processing and ensure proper documentation and reporting.Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing or payment issues.Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and records.Assist with audits by providing required documentation and support.Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation efforts.Qualifications include:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid- to large-sized organization.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.What we offer includes:Competitive hourly wage of $24.00 – $25.00 per hour.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off.Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.A supportive and inclusive workplace culture.The chance to contribute to a company that values accuracy, integrity, and teamwork.Legacy Talent Search is an equal opportunity employer.
