Role Description The Bookkeeping and Accounting Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in Kent, WA. This position supports the finance and accounting team with day-to-day tasks such as processing vendor invoices, customer billing, and payments, and maintaining accurate records in the accounting system. Responsibilities include assisting with preparation and reconciliation of financial reports, matching purchase orders to invoices, and tracking expenses. The Bookkeeping and Accounting Clerk will help with data entry, filing and organizing documents, responding to internal and external inquiries, and supporting month-end close activities. The role involves regular collaboration with operations and management to ensure timely, accurate financial information and compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Accounting and Bookkeeping, including accurate data entry and basic knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to assist in preparing, reviewing, and reconciling financial reports.
- Candidates should possess skills in using Accounting Software, with experience in common platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications, including spreadsheets, reports, and documentation.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in an accounting support or administrative finance role preferred; experience in construction or manufacturing is a plus. xhyhwjd
- Associate's degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
