Position Summary Entry-level position operating standard industrial sewing machines to

support the manufacture of U.S. Military Academy (USMA) cadet uniform components,

working under direct to moderate supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Operate standard sewing machines to perform

assigned sewing operations in the manufacture of cadet uniforms - Follow written and verbal

work instructions and production specifications - Maintain quality standards consistent with

FWS Job Grading Standard for Sewing Machine Operating, 3111 - Maintain a clean, safe, and

organized work area - Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervision

promptly - Comply with all site safety, security, and HSE requirements

Minimum Qualifications - Basic to intermediate sewing machine operation skills; training

may be provided - Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to follow instructions -

Must pass background check, medical screening, and any required installation-access vetting -

Must be at least 18 years of age - Must be a U.S. citizen or otherwise legally eligible to work on a

U.S. Government installation

Physical Demands - Ability to sit/stand for extended periods while operating machinery -

Manual dexterity for precision sewing tasks - Ability to lift/carry light materials as needed
