Job Description

As a Security Officer Credential Authorization Coordinator in San Lorenzo, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a caring, people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access for employees, contractors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
