Board-Eligible, Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician
Riverside Health is actively seeking a Board-Eligible, Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician to join our well-established and respected OB/GYN Residency Program as Core Faculty. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a program with a rich history and strong institutional support, focused on educating the next generation of physicians while improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
Our community-based, ACGME-accredited OB/GYN Residency Program has been a cornerstone of our educational mission since the 1970s. We welcome faculty members passionate about academic medicine, committed to evidence-based care, and enthusiastic about mentoring residents and medical students.
Position highlights include:
- Accredited ACGME OB/GYN Residency Program with Osteopathic Recognition
- 12 residents total – 3 per PGY year
- 2,400 deliveries/year, 12 L&D rooms, 22 private postpartum rooms, 2 dedicated OB ORs
- Precept residents in clinic, L&D, and the OR at Riverside Regional Medical Center – a 450-bed trauma center
- Serve a diverse, medically underserved population
- Access to an advanced Simulation Center to support surgical, procedural, and L&D skill development
- Collaborate with a dedicated Program Director and a team of passionate core faculty
- Robust partnerships with VCOM, VCU, and EVMS for medical student education
- Ongoing faculty development and academic career support
- EPIC links all inpatient and outpatient locations
