Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a local company in Cape Girardeau, MO. This position plays a critical role in keeping plant machinery, equipment, and facility systems operating safely and efficiently.

Pay

Job Overview


This position is responsible for troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing plant machinery, equipment, and physical structures. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with industrial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment and machinery
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain plant machinery and systems
• Replace glands, seals, and components in pumping equipment
• Diagnose equipment and machinery malfunctions and determine proper repair procedures
• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems
• Perform plant start-up and shut-down procedures safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics as needed
• Support overall plant operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring equipment reliability

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with 480V / three-phase electrical systems required
• Strong background in industrial electrical systems preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems effectively

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

• Experience using and interpreting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings
• Familiarity with installation and maintenance of electronic devices such as:
  • Flow meters
  • Encoders
  • Servo motors
  • Sensors
  • Photo eyes
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and mechanical blueprints and drawings
