Line Maintenance Technician

Part Time Flight Line TechnicianThis position is responsible for fueling and towing aircraft and performing office procedures and light janitorial duties.Major duties include:Guiding incoming aircraft to designated parking locations and securing aircraft in that position.Refueling aircraft arriving at and departing from the airport; checking and filling oil levels to the proper level; checking tire pressure; cleaning windscreens.Securing payment for fuel and services.Securing aircraft overnight; putting planes into the proper hangars.Moving aircraft in and around the FBO hangar or on the airfield for the Ozark Maintenance and Cape Avionics.Answering the telephone; taking messages or directing incoming calls.Refilling aircraft fuel trucks.Filling out training flight rental agreements.Loading and off-loading cargo flights during and after hours.Performing housekeeping duties; vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning and filling all dispensers in restrooms, cleaning and filling the coffee maker.Cleaning out the hangar and washing aircraft.Maintaining availability for call-outs after normal business hours.Performing other related duties as assigned.Knowledge required by the position includes:Knowledge of aircraft.Knowledge of fuels systems and the testing and delivery of fuel and oil to aircraft.Knowledge of customer service techniques.Knowledge of basic mechanical skills.Skill in operating forklifts and fuel trucks.Skill in oral and written communication.Minimum qualifications include:High School graduate or equivalent.Possession of or ability to obtain a valid driver's license.Preferred qualifications include:Six (6) months of related experience.
