Our Nuclear Medicine / PET-CT Technologists are essential to delivering the advanced outpatient imaging our patients and referring physicians depend on. What You Bring Precision and clinical expertise: You perform high‑quality Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols—every time, without fail. You administer radiopharmaceuticals accurately, record isotope dosages per established protocol, and produce diagnostic‑grade images across a full range of studies including oncology imaging, Axumin, NETSPOT, amyloid, and cardiac exams. Physicians and radiologists count on what you produce. Mastery of standards and systems: You bring deep knowledge of nuclear medicine physics, radiopharmaceutical handling, cross‑sectional anatomy, and dual‑energy CT protocols including iterative reconstruction. You are proficient in PACS and RIS systems, apply ALARA radiation safety principles without being reminded, and maintain clean, complete, real‑time documentation. Radiation safety and regulatory compliance are second nature to you. Agility and autonomy: You manage your own workflow, keep your room ready, calibrate and QC instrumentation, and adapt to a high‑volume outpatient schedule without needing constant direction. You evaluate image quality, troubleshoot technical issues, and prioritize what needs to happen next—on your own. Patient empathy: Every patient receives your full attention—a clear explanation of the procedure, a thorough review of medical history and contraindications, and genuine care for their comfort and safety throughout what can be a lengthy and stressful exam. Your NMTCB and ARRT credentials are the foundation—what you build from here is up to you. You're a Strong Fit if You Have NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) certification in Nuclear Medicine required ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required Valid state licensure as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Radiologic Technologist (where required) Current BLS / CPR certification 2+ years of Nuclear Medicine and/or PET/CT experience Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program from an AMA‑approved school; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Experience with PET/CT studies including oncology, Axumin, NETSPOT, amyloid, and cardiac imaging Proficiency in dual‑energy CT, iterative reconstruction, and advanced CT protocols Fluency in PACS, RIS, and digital image processing Working knowledge of ALARA, radiation safety regulations, and radiopharmaceutical handling protocols Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and teammates Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture Benefits Competitive wages No nights/no calls/no weekends Cross training opportunities Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) eligibility Pet Insurance Paid holidays PTO Sick Time $42 - $63 an hour We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
