Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment in Zellwood, FL. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with mechanical and electrical maintenance experience who is looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with growth potential.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility machineryTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsInstall, assemble, and maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, and production equipmentRespond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtimeAssist with equipment installations and continuous improvement projectsComplete maintenance logs and communicate equipment issues effectivelyFollow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and GMP standardsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredBasic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience requiredIndustrial maintenance experience preferredExperience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and production equipment preferredWelding and PLC troubleshooting experience is a plusStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or on a teamScheduleMonday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PMOvertime and occasional weekends may be requiredShift differential available for night shiftEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
