• 9 Medicare Sales Reps: September 7- December 7 (4 months, some may be extended up to 2/28)
• • Shift is between hours of operation 8 AM- 8 PM 7 days/week but majority are 8 hour shifts 8-6 Monday-Friday- do have to have 1-2 reps be 11:30-8 PM / have evening or weekend rotation flexibility, but not a huge commitment!)
• 4 Individual and Family Sales Reps: October 5 ish -December 31 (4 months)
• • Shift is between hours of operation, 8-6 Monday-Friday
• Will have 4 non-licensed Medicare enrollment specialists to support the sales teams! They do over-the-phone enrollments, reading a script + typing application info. PR $20/hour.
• Location: ONSITE 8170 33rd Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55425
• PR: $25 , Bonus paid out at end of contract (Typically 2-3K, some up to 8K+: paid $10 per member for commercial individual, $20 per member for Medicare individual).
• 1 and done interviews!

Must-haves:

• Registered Health Insurance Agent- Active insurance license in MN
• Consultative sales experience working in the health insurance industry
• Excellent customer service, computer and telephonic skills

Plusses:

• Experience selling Medicare insurance is a HUGE plus
• Experience at competing insurance companies
• Call center experience
• AHIP certified

Day to Day:

In this fast-paced position, you will respond to calls from members and prospective members, answering questions regarding purchasing or changing health plan coverage for individuals and families/Medicare, and helping them choose which insurance plan is right for them. You will be both taking inbound calls and making outbound calls using a headset. As a consultative sales representative, you will be expected to identify health coverage needs, present and sell appropriate plan options, and actively enroll prospective members. You'll take 20-30 unscripted calls a day during open enrollment, sometimes up to 45 minutes each. Your role is to find out what is important to the consumer ("Why are you calling? What's wrong with your current coverage?" "Here is what doctor would be in network, a quote of how much it'd be").

• Assist with incoming prospective member calls regarding Medicare or Individual Commercial Products
• Determine coverage needs in a prompt, professional and customer friendly manner.
• Proactively recommend appropriate health plan coverage options and create coverage proposals.
• Follow up by phone with potential applicants to answer additional questions.
• Follow HealthPartners’ procedures for documenting conversations and tracking contacts in CRM system.
• Comply with all Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), State of Minnesota, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Meets and exceeds specified sales goals for Medicare and/or individual product new member sales.
• Meet benchmarks for call metrics (number of calls answered, average call time, etc.)
• Schedule adherence.
