The ideal candidate will bring experience sourcing categories such asBeef, Pork,Poultry and other fresh proteins.This Manager needs to be practical, strategic, and hands-on with supplier management and protein procurement operations. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across protein categories • Manage supplier relationships and vendor performance • Support supplier optimization and sourcing initiatives • Conduct RFP/RFQ processes and negotiations • Monitor commodity markets, feedstock impacts, and industry trends • Partner cross-functionally with operations and planning teams Required Experience: • 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience within food manufacturing or food ingredients • Protein sourcing/procurement background required • Experience managing multiple suppliers/vendors • Strong understanding of protein commodity markets • Experience with RFPs/RFQs Position Highlights: • High-visibility strategic sourcing role • Opportunity to help build sourcing strategy and supplier optimization initiatives • Salary up to $160K base + bonus potential, depending on experience Offering robust benefits and potential for relocation assistance as well. #LI-JM1
