Human Resources Analyst - Corporate

Job Summary The Human Resource (HR) Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, and legal compliance. The HR Analyst serves as a data expert within the HR department. This position is responsible for internal and external reporting, including staffing, key risk indicators, government, and regulatory reporting schedules. Responsibilities Collect and compile HR metrics and data from HRIS, payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources. Serve as the main point of contact for all government-required reports (Federal and State). Gather and analyze workforce data, including employee records, turnover, recruitment, absence, headcount, and diversity metrics. Identify and recommend reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics. Based on metrics and analysis, make recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture, attract and hire qualified candidates, motivate and retain employees, address staffing issues, and maintain legal compliance. Perform annual compensation benchmarking for the Bank, compiling base pay, incentive pay, stock grants, and other data, and analyzing results for company pay scales. Manage the HR-owned portion of the Bank’s incentive bonus plan, including maintaining eligible employee tracking with relevant changes and communicating with executives and managers to capture and review performance scores and approved payouts. Manage and track the Bank’s annual goals module within HRIS. Complete monthly internal HR reports, including management reports. Develop and maintain regular and ad‑hoc reports to support HR leadership and line managers. Responsible for monthly general ledger, demand deposit, and billing reconciliation and balancing. Conduct classification audits to ensure jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexempt. Analyze and update HR policies, procedures, and compensation data to ensure legal compliance. Complete and maintain the company’s affirmative action plan. Recommend, create, and implement updates to HR process automation, standardization, and data quality initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Lead and coordinate the completion of internal and external HR audits. Assist management with legal requests and facilitate communication with legal counsel, uploading documents for review and tracking legal complaints for internal reporting. Review, update, and present results for the internal HR risk and control assessment and HR SOX process narrative. Respond to and update internal HR Incident & Issue reports. Assist with vendor management. Assist employees and management with various HR-related questions and requests. Assist with reviewing, notifying, and tracking employee complaints submitted via the internal complaint platform. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong analytical and numerical skills to interpret complex HR data. Knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements. Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without supervision. Initiative to learn new tasks and take on projects. Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage relationships. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, executives, and other departments. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the organization’s HR systems, databases, and reporting tools; attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to manage large datasets. Travel as needed. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required. Minimum of 3‑5 years of work experience in the HR field.
