2nd Shift CNC Operator Erie Industrial Products (EIP) – Oberlin, OH Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM–11:00 PM Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite Build Your Future with Erie Industrial Products Erie Industrial Products is looking for an experienced 2nd Shift CNC Operator to join our growing manufacturing team in Oberlin, Ohio. What You’ll Do Set up and operate CNC mills and grinders to produce precision parts. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production documentation. Change fixtures, tooling, and tooling offsets to ensure accurate machine setups. Edit CNC programs and adjust G & M Codes, speeds, and feeds as needed. Work with X, Y, and Z axes, along with 4th and 5thaxis machining. Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment. Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve problems. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while meeting quality and production goals. Perform additional duties as assigned. What You Bring High school diploma or GED. 1+ year of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience setting up and operating CNC machinery. Knowledge of X, Y, and Z axes and an understanding of 4th and 5thaxis CNC machining. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Knowledge of G & M Codes and CNC program editing. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
