Senior Manager Strategic Finance

Sr. Manager, Strategic Finance The Senior Manager, Strategic Finance reports to the SVP of Finance and serves as a key finance partner to the executive team on initiatives that drive enterprise value across Authority Brands' portfolio of home services brands. This role leads strategic projects and long-range planning efforts, owns monthly investor reporting and quarterly board materials, and supports lender reporting and covenant compliance under the company's credit facilities. The Senior Manager also plays a central role in the company's acquisition strategy, leading financial diligence, modeling, and valuation for M&A transactions and overseeing post-close financial integration. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear insights for executive, board, sponsor, and lender audiences. Key Responsibilities Strategic Projects & Value Creation Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic initiatives that drive enterprise value. Lead cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, evaluate new business opportunities, and enhance profitability. Support the executive team in long-term strategic planning. Capital Expenditures, Strategic Project Budgets & Long-Range Planning Own and maintain the company's long-range plan, incorporating acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and capital structure assumptions to support executive, board, and sponsor discussions Develop and manage the annual capital expenditure budget, tracking spend against approved plans and evaluating returns on major investments Own budgets for strategic and transformation projects, monitoring spend, timelines, and milestones and measuring realized benefits against original business cases Deliver regular reporting to executive leadership on capital spend and the status, cost, and value of the strategic project portfolio Investor Reporting Own monthly investor reporting packages, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with investor expectations. Prepare quarterly board materials, including financial updates, strategic narratives, and performance dashboards. Lender Compliance & Reporting Support lender reporting requirements, covenant compliance, and communication related to credit facilities. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely and accurate reporting. M&A Diligence, Integration & Closing Lead or support financial due diligence, modeling, and valuation efforts for M&A transactions. Oversee financial integration efforts post-close, including opening balance sheet setup and true-up processes. Collaborate with legal, accounting, and operations teams to ensure seamless transaction execution and integration. Qualifications 9+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant exposure to a multi-unit operating environment (home services or similar) Background in strategic finance, investment banking, M&A consulting or due diligence Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel Ability to translate financial complexity into clear, actionable communication for non-finance audiences We believe our greatest assets are our employees, we offer competitive salaries and a full benefits package to include, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) and more.
