Vice President of Quality

Executive Quality Leader

Core Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical, Materials, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline
• 15+ years of progressive quality assurance or quality engineering leadership experience within metals or heavy industrial manufacturing

Preferred Requirements:

• Advanced degree (MS or MBA)
• Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent quality certification

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for quality systems and performance across a complex, multi-site metals manufacturing organization. This executive will establish consistent quality standards across the manufacturing network while strengthening process control, product consistency, customer satisfaction, and cost of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Establish the enterprise quality strategy and operating framework across multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring consistent standards, systems, and accountability
• Strengthen manufacturing quality through standardized process controls, performance metrics, statistical methods, and disciplined corrective action
• Serve as a senior quality leader for key customers, providing executive-level support for technical reviews, escalations, qualifications, and improvement initiatives
• Partner with Operations and technical leadership to improve first-pass yield, reduce nonconformances and customer claims, and address systemic manufacturing issues
• Maintain certification and customer compliance requirements while ensuring facilities remain prepared for audits, assessments, and evolving quality expectations
• Build organizational capability by developing quality leaders and technical talent while establishing clear succession plans and performance expectations across the network
