CNC Machinist
We are looking for a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components while maintaining production and quality standards.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Load and unload materials and properly secure workpieces
Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting tools
Make machine offsets and adjustments to maintain part quality
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
Perform in-process and final quality inspections
Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed
Troubleshoot basic machining, tooling, and equipment issues
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized
Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records
Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards
Work with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to meet production goals
Previous CNC machining experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Knowledge of CNC machine operation, tooling, and machining processes
Experience using precision measuring instruments
Basic understanding of GD&T is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good problem-solving and mechanical skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle materials
CNC mill and/or lathe experience
Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or similar CNC controls
CNC programming or editing experience
Experience with CAM software such as Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Fusion 360, or similar
Experience with setup, tooling selection, and first-piece inspection
