Job Description

We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers with a focus on packaging. In this role, you will be involved in various tasks, including shipping and receiving, packaging, assembly, and hanging parts. The parts you handle may weigh between 5 and 20 pounds, with packaging items being 20 pounds or less.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks.
• Engage in packaging activities.
• Assemble parts and products.
• Hang parts for processing.
• Handle parts weighing between 5 and 20 pounds.

Essential Skills

• Experience in packaging and assembly.
• Ability to perform labor-intensive tasks.
• Capability to lift up to 20 pounds repetitively.
• Six months of previous work history in any field or industry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or farming is beneficial.

Work Environment

You will be working in a manufacturing environment on the 1st shift from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays until noon. The role requires standing for the entire shift, and some areas may be dusty. You will work alongside a team of 10 people. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toed boots, and protective wear must be worn at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring Valley, MN.

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $15.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Spring Valley,MN.
