Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - EVENING AND NIGHT SHIFTS

The Pearl of Elgin, a leader in post-acute rehabilitation, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients at our state-of-the-art facility in Elgin, Illinois .

About the Role

As a CNA at The Pearl of Elgin, you will be responsible for:

• Providing direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and personal care activities

• Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, including restocking supplies and maintaining accurate records

• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

• Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and families

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards and protocols

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including vital signs and medication administration

• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

• Current CNA certification in the state of Illinois

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical activities as necessary

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
