Encapsulation Machine Operator - Nights

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Encapsulation Machine Operator for night shift work at the High Point, NC manufacturing facility. The role involves operating encapsulation equipment to produce softgel drug delivery products while maintaining GMP compliance and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate encapsulation machinery to produce softgel products from pre-mixed ingredients
- Monitor machine performance, adjust settings, and maintain proper temperatures and measurements
- Collect product samples and perform in-process quality testing
- Assist with machine setup, changeover procedures, and cleanup activities
- Operate inline printing equipment as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year manufacturing, operations, production, or lab experience
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capacity to work 12-hour night shifts in a 24/7 operation
- Data interpretation and basic troubleshooting skills
- cGMP environment experience preferred
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with night shift differential, annual performance-based bonus, and merit-based increases
