Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient group using established standards and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, develop and implement care plans, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members.
- Monitor patient status, document care accurately, and adjust plans as needed to promote safe, effective outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of various nursing staff levels; delegate appropriately and coordinate duties.
- Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education to support continuity of care and safe transitions.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the treatment team to provide a healing and respectful environment; ensure accurate handoffs and care coordination.

Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice required.
- Certifications: CPR/BLS required; facility-specific BLS per AH policy (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) required.
- Experience: At least two years of recent acute care/Med Surg nursing experience.
- Education: BSN preferred.
- Technical: Epic EMR experience required.
- Other: Ability to work night shift and perform duties in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting.
