We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Business Partner to join our small HR department and provide direct support across recruiting, employee relations, leave administration, and HR operations.In this role, you'll work closely with managers and employees throughout the organization, helping to fill open positions, administer FMLA and other employee leaves, resolve workplace issues, and support a positive employee experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, values building strong working relationships, and wants to make a visible impact in a growing organization.What You'll DoRecruiting & Staffing SupportYou will play a key role in helping managers attract and hire qualified candidates while ensuring a positive candidate experience.Partner with managers to understand staffing needs and assist with creating and posting job openingsManage and maintain job postings through the ADP Recruiting platformTrack open positions and prepare weekly recruitment reportsSupport relationships with recruiting agencies, colleges, and external recruiting resourcesAssist with internship programs, career fairs, and networking eventsCoordinate onboarding activities and ensure a smooth transition for new hiresEmployee Relations & Leave AdministrationYou will serve as a trusted resource for managers and employees, helping address workplace concerns and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.Assist managers and employees with HR-related questions, policies, and proceduresHandle employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and consistencyAdminister and track employee leaves, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other leave programsMaintain accurate leave documentation and communication with employees and managersCoordinate unemployment responses and assist with hearings as neededSupport investigations, documentation, and resolution of workplace issuesHR Operations & Employee SupportAs a member of a small HR team, you'll contribute across a variety of HR functions and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and issue resolutionCoordinate open enrollment and support compensation communication timelinesAssist with audits and compliance reporting including ACA, 401(k), NDT, and EEO-1 reportingMaintain accurate HRIS records and generate HR analytics and reportingSupport employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and HR process improvementsHelp maintain and update HR SharePoint resources and communicationsParticipate in special projects and continuous improvement efforts within the HR departmentWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field2+ years of HR experience, including recruiting, employee relations, and leave administrationExperience supporting managers and employees in a fast-paced environmentExpert knowledge of FMLA, ADA, DE PFML and employment law requirementsStrong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong experience with ADP Workforce Now preferredPHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plusWhy Join Us?Opportunity to make a direct impactBroad exposure to multiple HR functionsClose partnership with managers and employees across the organizationDowntown Wilmington location with a supportive team environment
