New grads have 6 months to pass registry. Experience with adult echocardiography techniques Strong patient communication skills High School Diploma or GED required; 2‑year / Associate Degree preferred. Experience 1 year preferred. Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentials RDCS or RCS required. New graduates have 6 months to pass registry. Ability to operate sonographic equipment. Ability to acquire appropriate diagnostic information. Ability to shift workload to meet patient needs. Use independent judgment to acquire optimum images. Follow established departmental procedures. Work efficiently and cope with emergency situations. Knowledge of echocardiography interpretation and skills. Communication skills and sensitivity to patient needs. Ability to identify patient requirements based on age‑specific needs. Responsibilities Perform high‑quality echocardiograms using state‑of‑the‑art ultrasound equipment. Collaborate with cardiologists and other care providers to ensure accurate results and exceptional patient experiences. Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care in every interaction.
