About the Role We are hiring a Sr. Social Producer to join the Corporate Marketing group and lead production of social‑first content on our owned channels. This maker role involves conceiving, shooting, editing, and publishing short‑form vertical video for LinkedIn, Meta platforms, TikTok, YouTube (Shorts and long‑form), and X at a fast cadence. Primary Responsibilities Produce social‑first video content end to end—concept, shoot, edit, publish—for major platforms. Shoot field content, often solo, directing on‑camera talent and preparing footage for vertical and square formats. Edit with social‑native tools such as Capsule; partner with the Video team for long‑form polish when needed. Integrate platform‑native craft (hooks, pacing, captions, on‑screen text, sound layers, framing, platform specs). Lead production of social content series, develop playbooks, and mentor peers and contractors. Respond rapidly to culture and platform trends, publishing on‑brand posts within hours when appropriate. Use AI tools across ideation, scripting, storyboarding, editing, captioning, voiceover, media generation, and repurposing. Iterate using performance data (views, watch time, retention, engagement, follower growth, saves, shares). Collaborate with creators and Samsarians to build creator partnership programs. Manage the social production calendar and approval flow, keeping stakeholders aligned and blockers cleared. Model Samsara’s operating principles in all production and collaboration activities. Qualifications 4+ years producing social‑first content for brand channels, focused on short‑form vertical video. A portfolio or reel of personally produced social‑first work. Track record building and scaling a social content series with measurable growth. Deep platform fluency across LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X. Hands‑on production craft: shooting on mobile/prosumer cameras, directing on‑camera talent, editing in social‑native tools. Experience using AI tools in production workflows with concrete examples. Skillful reading of social performance data to inform creative decisions. Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills. Accepts travel up to 10%. Ideal Candidate Experience building social‑native programs for a B2B or enterprise brand. Experience in B2B tech environments. Experience working with creators or building creator partnership programs. Familiarity with project management tools such as Airtable. Compensation Annual Base Salary: $95,497.50—$184,575 USD Total Rewards Base salary plus performance‑based bonus/variable pay and equity (RSU) with no vesting cliff.
