Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Location

Arlington, TX

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 30
  • Patient Ratios: 6:1
  • Type of Equipment: Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady, bladder scanners
  • EMR: Meditech
Shift Information

Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 4-5 Staff RNs (based on unit census), 2 PCTs, 1 HUC, and 1-3 Sitters

Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 4-5 Staff RNs (if the unit census is full), 2 PCTs, and 1-3 Sitters (depending on patient population)

Qualifications
  • Must Have:

    • BLS certification
    • Med Surg or acute care experience as an RN
  • Preferred:

    • Med Surg/acute care experience
    • Previous experience in relevant healthcare settings
Typical Procedures
  • Post-surgical care (e.g., cholecystectomy, cystoscopy with stent placement)
  • Pain management and CIWA patients
