RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for the Medical Surgical unit at HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge. The CNC ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit during the designated shift. Responsibilities Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care. Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with the management team. Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service. Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary. Support the facility’s efforts to improve engagement by operationalizing nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives. Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; recommend and implement courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completing performance evaluations, or disciplinary actions. Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines. Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license. Registered Nurse Diploma or equivalent. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
