Commercial Forecasting Assoc Dir

Associate Director of Commercial Forecasting at Amgen will serve as primary strategist for sales pipeline forecasting, working across therapeutic area leadership to build consensus on revenue projections, identify market opportunities and risks, and inform critical go/no-go product development decisions using advanced analytical models and pharmaceutical market data.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for Brand Leads and therapeutic area leaders on forecasting deliverables and strategic recommendations
- Build stakeholder consensus on worldwide sales expectations for pipeline assets through transparent assumption modeling
- Analyze competitive landscape and market dynamics to inform forecasting models and strategic decision-making
- Develop presentations articulating forecast variables, scenarios, and uncertainty quantification for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with Commercial Data & Analytics organization to integrate insights and enhance forecast accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Six years of commercial forecasting, consulting, or related commercial role experience
- Expertise in patient-based forecasting models and dynamic patient flow modeling
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis: statistical trending, time series analysis, regression, Monte Carlo simulation
- Experience with IQVIA datasets including Xponent, LAAD, National Audit Rx, and Symphony Health
- Knowledge of global epidemiology data sources and market access/reimbursement frameworks
- Advanced Excel skills with scenario modeling and probabilistic tools like RISK or Crystal Ball
Compensation: $168,730 - $204,224 base annually
