Working remotely, the full-time Mortgage Underwriter will analyze loan files for compliance with company and investor guidelines, underwrite residential mortgage loans, and maintain productivity standards while assisting with training new underwriters. Key responsibilities Conduct thorough analyses of loan files to ensure compliance with guidelines Underwrite credit packages and collateral for residential mortgage loans, ensuring investment quality Maintain underwriting activity logs and provide monthly reports to the underwriting manager Required qualifications Minimum three years of mortgage underwriting experience with knowledge of underwriting guidelines Experience with private investor and private mortgage insurance guidelines Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience Technological proficiency Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
