What you'll be doing Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to understand part geometry, features, and tolerances. Operating multiple Makino 4 & 5-Axis CNC milling machine centers, many with the help of automation. Loading raw materials, securing workpieces, changing tools, and making offsets for efficient and accurate machining. Inspecting and measuring finished parts using calipers, micrometers, CMM, and other precision tools. Reviewing and understanding CMM reports to verify dimensional accuracy. Completing inspection and production reports to ensure documentation and workflow accuracy. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area. What we're looking for We're looking for production team members with the aptitude, willingness, and proactivity to excel in a growing manufacturing environment. Required Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and CMM data, including GD&T. Proficiency with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and more. Solid mechanical aptitude with a problem-solver mindset. Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with programmers, quality inspectors, and fellow machinists. A proactive, self-driven work style with the ability to complete tasks with minimal direction. Preferred Experience operating 4-5 axis Makino machines is a strong plus.
