Sales Associate - Crayola Store (Crown Center Shops - Full-time)

In This Role You Will The Crayola Store Sales Associate is instrumental in creating the best customer experience Crayola can offer. By demonstrating thorough knowledge of store merchandise, the Sales Associate guides customers with selecting merchandise and ringing sales. The Sales Associate is responsible for accurately preparing and ringing sales, packaging and carrying out merchandise appropriately, facilitating gift wrap and shipping processes as needed, and following up on all merchandise requiring special handling. This position also assists in maintaining the function and visual presentation of the sales floor by dusting and straightening displays, restocking merchandise as needed, and replenishing cash wrap supplies such as bags, tissue paper, and receipt paper. Physical Demands This job requires standing for prolonged periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, and pulling or pushing carts. Store Hours Saturday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm; Sunday, 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Hours for the Sales Associate will vary within these timeframes but will include holidays, weekends, and evenings (during the holiday season the store may remain open until 9:00 pm). Basic Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent At least six months of sales experience in a department store setting, or six months professional customer contact (e.g., public relations, customer service, high‑volume receptionist) Availability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays Preferred Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Superior customer service and teamwork skills – a great attitude and teamwork orientation Enjoy working with children and families Strong math and problem‑solving skills Detail oriented and professional disposition Additional Details This is a full‑time regular job opportunity. Store basic hours are Monday – Saturday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Sunday, 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
