Sales Specialist - Histology Instruments

Leica Biosystems seeks a Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth and instrument placements for histology solutions across Alabama and Tennessee territories. The role combines strategic account development with customer relationship management in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory strategies to drive instrument placements and market share expansion
- Manage sales pipeline through disciplined funnel management and accurate forecasting in Salesforce
- Build customer relationships and identify workflow modernization and competitive conversion opportunities
- Partner with Applications, Service, and Commercial teams on demonstrations, evaluations, and installations
- Leverage competitive intelligence and product knowledge to differentiate solutions and improve win rates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years sales experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage sales territory and drive opportunity progression to close
- Experience with strategic selling, contract negotiation, or capital equipment sales
- Strong organizational, territory planning, and time management capabilities
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; ability to travel 50-75% overnight
Compensation: $110,000-$120,000 base; $160,000 total target compensation including Sales Incentive Compensation
