Member Services Representative – Rockford, MI

Location: Rockford, MI

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Work Environment: Onsite

Overview

We are hiring a Member Services Representative for our Rockford branch. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who enjoys working directly with customers, handling financial transactions, and contributing to a team-oriented environment.

You will serve as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring efficient service and a positive in-branch experience.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Engagement

• Deliver exceptional, customer-first service on every interaction
• Respond to questions, provide solutions, and handle requests efficiently
• Promote awareness of financial products and services
• Build strong relationships with customers and team members

Transaction Processing

• Process a range of transactions accurately, including:
  • Deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing
  • Credit card payments and advances
  • Money orders and cashier’s checks
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer daily
• Work within internal systems (CBX or similar platforms)

Operational Support

• Partner with internal teams for issue resolution and follow-up
• Provide support to nearby branches as needed
• Assist with branch operations and administrative tasks
• Participate in local community initiatives and events

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service experience (face-to-face preferred)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Comstock Park, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
