We’re looking for Barista professionals to join our team in Girdwood, Alaska .

What You’ll Do

As a Barista you’ll prepare beverages and serve grab & go fare in a friendly, clean and upbeat atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcome and connect with every guest.

• Discover customer needs and appropriately suggest products with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals.

• Prepares beverages to Alyeska standards.

• Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.

• Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products.

• Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with the duty rosters and cleaning standards.

• Presents oneself professionally and demonstrates clear communication with all guests.

• Follows cash handling procedures and cash register policies.

• Contributes to store goals for increasing sales and improving profits.

• Is responsible for self-initiated learning.

What We Need

• Possess or Obtain a Food Handlers Card (during introductory phase of your employment).

• Experience in similar server setting preferred.

• Experience in a customer service setting.

• The ability to multitask while providing exceptional guest service.

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to effectively present information on one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
