About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its mission of advancing lasting and equitable decarbonization, climate, and energy solutions. The CEO will be the strategic leader, responsible for guiding the organization, ensuring the effective execution of Board priorities, and providing transparent and inspirational leadership. This role requires a leader who can champion a people-centered culture, model core values, and position the organization as a thought leader and partner in the energy and climate ecosystem. The successful candidate will be a steward of the company's mission, a catalyst for organizational evolution, and will work to sustain and amplify the long-term impact of the organization. Candidates for the CEO position should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the energy and climate landscape, a proven track record in leading and scaling performance-based organizations, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The role demands exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to inspire and develop diverse teams. Experience in fundraising, particularly with foundations, and a background in legislative, policy, regulatory, or government affairs work are also preferred. The CEO must be resilient, courageous, and able to foster a mission-aligned, values-driven culture while leading the organization through change and uncertainty.
