Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Oxford Clinic for Women, a Partner Practice of Together Women's Health (TWH), an industry leading network of medical providers in the women's health field, is looking for a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their clinical team. As an experienced practitioner, the LPN is accountable for providing high quality, individualized, goal directed care for all patients and their families through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.This position is typically scheduled Monday-Wednesday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST. Schedule may vary based on practice needs and staff coverage. No weekends.Responsibilities:Escorts patients to and from exam rooms and readies them for physicians; takes vital signs, records medical history/symptoms, ensures medical chart/lab test results are available and completePrepare patients for and assist with examination or treatmentsCommunicates to patients and office coordinators follow-up appointments, ancillary and/or pre-operative testing and scheduling needed for patientProvides education and information to patients and family membersConsults with other specialties and disciplines as appropriate to meet all health care needs of patientsUses organizational skills to effectively complete assignments in timely mannerCleans and stocks all patient examination rooms; cleans and prepares instruments for procedures; keeps list of needed medical suppliesCompletes paperwork such as ordering lab tests, x-rays, school/work notes, FMLA, etc.Counsels' patients concerning lifestyle modifications, medication regimens, side effects, and interactions using an appropriate psychosocial communication levelUnderstand and enforce standard health care regulatory requirementsPerform office procedures including all general administrative dutiesDocument Electronic Medical Record (EMR) all medical interventionsAssure HIPAA and OSHA complianceQualifications:Current license to practice as an LPNCurrent CPR certificationAn Associate's or bachelor's degree, or higherExcellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative careYou are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job doneWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?As a part-time team member, you'll enjoy benefits that support both your work and personal life, including:401(k) Retirement Plan, upon meeting plan eligibility requirementsPaid Time Off, with accrual based on hours workedPaid HolidaysNo weekends, with a typical Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CSTThe opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients every dayWHY TOGETHER WOMEN'S HEALTH (TWH)?Because we do things a bit differently here.
