POSITION SUMMARY: Detail-oriented Accountant to manage payables and receivables for multiple locations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – Accounts Payable

· Accurately and timely process and code invoices daily

· Obtain proper approvals as needed

· Scan/index supplier invoices

· Process weekly check runs, including mailing checks to suppliers

· Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

· Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries

· Maintain company credit card system

· Monthly reconciliation of accounts payable

· Monthly accruals & journal entries

· Continuous improvement activity

· Other activities as assigned

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – Accounts Receivable

· Daily processing of customer invoices

· Obtain proper documentation for each shipment

· Scan/Index shipping documentation

· Accurately and timely process and code invoices

· Monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable

· Monthly accruals & journal entries

· Continuous improvement activity

· Other activities as assigned

NECESSARY SKILLS

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• High level organization skills
• Comfortable going to production floor
• An associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or another relevant field is required. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
