Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Provide patient care for a diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Manage cases involving common diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, and cardiac arrest
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Participate in floating duties across the unit as necessary
• Demonstrate charge capability and handle high-pressure situations

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• Active NY RN License and all RN licenses verified through NURSYS
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand)
• Documentation of travel experience required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Emergency Department with pediatric experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
