As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will lead and support requirements analysis, documentation, testing activities, and customer support throughout the software development lifecycle.The ideal candidate has a technical or software development background with exposure to React, Node.js, GitHub, and AWS cloud tools. You will use Jira and Confluence to organize requirements, document decisions, support delivery activities, and help maintain transparency across the project.This position requires someone who can manage competing priorities, identify opportunities for process improvement, and help guide others while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and client service. The ability to ask thoughtful probing questions and effectively communicate the technical needs between stakeholders will be essential to success. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation of business and technical requirementsWork with clients and technical teams to clarify needs, identify gaps, and define solution requirementsTranslate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentationSupport the creation and refinement of wireframesDevelop and maintain test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, and other testing documentationSupport user acceptance testing and help confirm that delivered solutions meet documented requirementsCreate and maintain clear technical, functional, and user-facing documentationProvide Tier I customer support and assist with investigating and resolving user issuesTrack requirements, action items, decisions, risks, and dependencies using Jira and ConfluenceCollaborate with developers, testers, project managers, clients, and other intersecting teams throughout the software development lifecycleIdentify and recommend opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and team effectivenessHelp guide and mentor other team members in their career and professional developmentWork independently while contributing across a variety of activities to support overall team successRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related fieldMinimum of six years of related business analysis, technical analysis, software development, or project delivery experienceExperience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and technical requirementsTechnical or software development background with exposure to React, Node.js, and GitHubExperience working with AWS cloud toolsExperience using Jira and ConfluenceStrong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated attention to detail, sound judgment, maturity, professionalism, and logical thinkingExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate clearly and diplomatically with clients, technical staff, project leadership, and other stakeholdersAbility to resolve issues and collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceededAbility to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and contribute ideas for process improvementAbility and desire to mentor and support the professional development of other team membersFlexibility and willingness to work in a variety of capacities to support team and project successAbility to obtain the required government security clearance, which requires U.S. CitizenshipPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of software development concepts, methodologies, and best practicesExperience supporting software development teams in an Agile environmentExperience creating wireframes, test documentation, technical documentation, and user-facing materialsExperience providing customer or Tier I application supportCompensationThe estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $140,000. This salary range is not a guarantee of compensation.
