Title
Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical Stroke Stepdown

Schedule
Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements
- Active RN license in New York
- 2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing with stroke stepdown experience
- Current AHA BLS certification
- NIHSS certification (can be obtained prior to start)
- Experience with EMR: EPIC
- Documentation of travel experience
- Drivers license with address matching demographics
- Skills checklist matching specialty required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adults in a stroke stepdown unit.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, managing alterations in mental status and other complications.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Implement and educate patients on care plans and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients and staff.

Compliance / Notes
- Floating may be required.
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.
