Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to adult patients on a Med Surg unit, including post-surgical and general medical cases
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, administer medications, IV therapies, and manage IV pumps
- Utilize EPIC EMR for charting, medication administration records, and patient documentation
- Assist with post-operative care, wound care, pain management, and early identification of complications
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team; communicate changes in patient status and plan of care
- Floats to related units as needed and ensure patient safety, comfort, and readiness for discharge planning

Requirements
- Active New York RN license with Nursys verification confirming active status
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg nursing experience
- Travel experience required
- EPIC EMR experience
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- RTO (time off) must be included at submission
- Valid driver's license with address matching demographics
- Ability to work in a Med Surg setting with floating as needed
