Category Direct Hire Description Touchdown Business Solutions is hiring a Materials Buyer for one of our reputable, established clients. Responsibilities Manage daily component purchasing to align with production schedules. Work with suppliers to resolve shortages and expedite the delivery of critical parts. Keep ERP data accurate and update purchase orders as needed. Communicate with suppliers about orders, deliveries, and recovery plans. Coordinate with Purchasing and Assembly teams on urgent part needs. Help control inventory by balancing availability and minimizing excess. Attend daily operations meetings and provide status updates. Requirements Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, or 3-7 years of relevant purchasing/materials management experience Sourcing experience with component parts Proficient with ERP systems Excellent Microsoft Excel skills Strong research and analytical abilities Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Shift Time & Pay Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm Salary role: $55,000-$65,000 About the Organization Touchdown Business Solutions is a locally and family owned Business Solutions company in New Albany, IN here to serve the Kentuckiana Region.
