Construction Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Inspector to ensure construction projects comply with design standards, local codes, ordinances, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and excellent knowledge of building regulations. Direct hire only, no recruiters. Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site inspections of land development and commercial construction projects. Verify that work meets engineering design and contract specifications. Review construction plans for compliance before construction begins. Maintain detailed records of inspections and prepare comprehensive reports. Collaborate with contractors and engineers to resolve issues. Work Environment Full-time position with standard business hours, though some evening or weekend work may be required. Combination of office work and field inspections, with significant time spent at construction sites. Requirements High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction inspection. Previous experience reading plans, specifications, and construction design details. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency with computers and inspection software. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
