Our client, a leading organization in the industrial and facilities management sector, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services department supporting facility operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Engineer

Location: Conroe, TX

Pay Range: $22/Hr

What's the Job?

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems within the facility.
• Ensure all building systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards.
• Conduct inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing systems to verify proper operation.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan.
• Respond to emergency repairs and support safety protocols on-site.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; additional certifications preferred.
• Physical ability to walk, climb stairs, and lift loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and on-call for emergencies.
