Cutter Operator

The Cutter Operator's primary function is to operate the cutter machine according to production demands and customer specifications.

This is a full-time position. Must be flexible with hours and work overtime when needed.

Essential Functions:

• Keep workstation, machinery and materials clean and safe.
• Maintain quality
• Maintain production
• Change blade
• Maintain cutter
• Work with scheduler on workflow
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Note: The cutter Operator will train on 1st shift for 3-6 weeks.

Could be exposed to fumes, airborne particles involved in a printing environment. Employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level is moderately loud.

Physical Demands

The following physical qualifications must be met to perform the essential functions of this job:

• Ability to bend, reach, crawl, twist and lift at least 50 pounds unassisted is required.
• The ability to remain in a standing position for long periods of time is required.
• The ability to see, hear, count, measure, read, and follow verbal directions in English is required. The ability to differentiate colors, horizontal, and vertical positions is required,
• The ability to utilize fine motor skills while working on sensitive machinery is essential.
• The ability to perform repetitive upper body motions is required.
• The ability to read a ruler is essential.
