Job Title:  Retail Coordinator

Location : Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non Exempt

Department: Golf Operations

Reports To: Director of Golf

Job Summary:

Provide the members and their guests with creative and timely merchandise for purchase, strive to attain financial goals set by the Board of Directors, the GM/COO, and Director of Golf.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily check in and billing of golfers at the Long Point Golf Shop.
• Assisting in the merchandising operation of the Golf Shop
• Recording of daily sales
• Keeping the Golf Shop neat and clean
• Providing outstanding customer service to all guests, members, and other visitors.
• Must maintain well groomed appearance, conform to uniform requirements, and be generally professional in personal presentation. 
• Must have great computer skills utilizing JONAS, CANVA, FORE Tees, and Outlook
• Attendance at functions that are critical to the success and completion of member golf and social events that are sometimes outside the normal work schedule of hours
• Meetings with Sales Reps to help coordinate merchandise buys at both the golf shop and logo shop
• Coordination of invoicing to the accountant for all merchandise purchases
  

Other Functions:

• Oversees Cart Staff, and Starter / Ranger programs in relation to the daily operation of tee times and member play 
• Other responsibilities include, making tee time reservations
• Tournament management – sign up sheets, on-line reservations
• Ability to organize, delegate responsibility, and follow up on results.
• General golf knowledge to help with the day to day functions of the golf member and golf services as it relates to the club
  

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Some merchandising background
• Some golf knowledge helpful, strong merchandising exposure in either golf or retail
  
• Working knowledge of Jonas and ForeTees for POS and Tee Sheet functionality.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to sharp objects, slippery floors, smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity, and extreme cold. The employee regularly comes into contact with water, sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood, and produce items. The employee is frequently required to wash hands. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
