About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown, PCU, DOU, IMC, and Stepdown experience required Experience with the following patient diagnoses: Stroke, neurosurgery, trauma, general med/surg, and IMC/Stepdown level of care required Description: Registered Nurse needed for a busy stroke and neuro step-down unit. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Telemetry experience is mandatory. Patient ratios are typically 1:4, and may be higher depending on resources available. Travelers must be clean-shaven for Fit Testing to ensure proper sealing for masks. Failure to shave will result in cancellation for Fit Testing sessions. Preferred qualifications include previous charge experience. Experience with charting systems, particularly Epic, is required. All travelers must complete an OSHA Respirator Clearance prior to starting work. This is a dynamic position that requires effective communication and teamwork. Candidates must have strong clinical skills in managing various procedures, including lumbar drains and telemetry monitoring. Continuous education and patient safety are emphasized in this role.
