About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: LTAC MS Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years in Specialty License: Compact or State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Epic experience required Patient Ratio Experience: 1:5/6 Willingness to participate in emergency events as assigned Description: Please ensure you are aware that upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed during each emergency event, as impacts may vary. By signing your travel contract for this position, you agree to the above terms and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event were to occur. Do not apply for this role if you are not comfortable with these expectations. Preferred skills include TPN, wound care, drain management, Foley catheter insertion, and narcotic administration. Daily census on the unit is 28 patients with a total of 35 beds available. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, and pharmacy. Patient age groups served are adults and geriatrics. Professional skills that may be utilized include management of dysrhythmias, ventilation modes, and complex wound care. Candidates should be comfortable working with diverse patient diagnoses and special procedures. Travel experience is preferred, and charge experience is not acceptable. References will be required upon contract acceptance. Applicants must ensure their NURSYS report is up to date within 4 weeks of submission. Modules are billable and completed during orientation, factored into overall orientation hours.
