Dental AssistantWe are seeking an enthusiastic dental assistant with a strong work ethic, excellent communication and patient care skills to join our amazing team! Dental assistants should be well organized with great attention to detail. Prior experience is preferred. Candidates must hold an active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of Tennessee and possess current certifications in radiology, nitrous oxide monitoring, and coronal polishing.At Brink & White Pediatric Dental Associates, we are committed to treating every child like our own. Our team is passionate about providing exceptional pediatric dentistry while making each visit a positive experience for both children and their families.We are looking for someone who graduated from an accredited dental assisting program (preferred). A great communicator that wants to make a difference in our patients' care. Someone who thrives in a busy environment and is a team player. Eagerness to learn and provide extraordinary care to our patients.Responsibilities include assisting the dentist during generalized pediatric dental procedures, including general anesthesia. Cleaning the patient's teeth. Taking, exposing and developing digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic, etc.). Providing hygiene and diet education. Taking impressions. Setting up and tearing down dental chairs and operatory rooms. Parents consults-discuss treatment plans. Cleaning and sterilizing instruments. Lab work. Restocking supplies in rooms and sterilization area. Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines.
