Mechanical Design Engineer
Capital equipment manufacturer located in the greater Knoxville area has immediate opening for a Mechanical Design Engineer. This person will work closely with Sales Engineers and Project Managers to design custom equipment involving mechanical, electrical and electronic components. Position requires BSME or similar degree along with experience in SolidWorks or Inventor software. Must have 3+ years Mechanical Design experience working with capital equipment. Knowledge of HVAC, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, etc is a big plus. Will develop P&ID drawings, select proper components, and generate BOM's. This position will be part of a small Engineering team. Must have strong communication skills and a good team work approach. Excellent work environment. Prefer candidates already located in E.TN, but relocation assistance is available.
