Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$1787.04/week -

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke center, ensuring patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced, diverse environment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional clinical care and support patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess, monitor, and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival and throughout treatment.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately and timely using Cerner electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families about treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with safety standards and certifications, including ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of experience in a high-volume emergency department.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in trauma and stroke patient management.
  
  
• 
  Possess current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (or ability to obtain before start).
  
  
• 
  Show excellent teamwork, communication, and feedback skills.
  
  
• 
  Be flexible to work in all areas of the Emergency Department and available for every other weekend shifts.
